William W. “Dink” Fox, 59, of Geneva, IN, passed away due to injuries sustained in an auto accident last Monday. He passed at 5:37AM on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN.  He was born on Tuesday, July 10, 1956, in Bluffton.  William worked at Strick Trailers in Monroe for 15 years.  He enjoyed camping, being outdoors in the sun, fishing, drinking coffee and hunting.

 

Survivors include: Mother - Mary Ellen Fox, Bluffton, IN; Daughters - Carrie Mann, Graceville, FL and Cassandra Fox, Berne, IN Sons-Dustin Fox, Portland, IN., and Phillip Fox, Bryant, IN; Sisters - Harriett “Jane” (Earl) Harris, Bluffton, IN, Rebecca (Bill) Barkdull, Bluffton, IN and Susie Dickey, Decatur, IN; Grandchildren - Alexius Hood,  Darren Perry, Darieon Perry, Brayden Fox, Natalie Butcher, Connor Butcher and Ashlynn Fox.

 

He was preceded in death by his: wife - Diana (Harshman) Fox, father - John Fox and brother - Larry McDonald.

Phyllis Jean Platt, 78, of Pennville (Jay County), IN, passed away at 2:40 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor in Dunkirk.  She was born on Wednesday, May 12, 1937, in Arkansas.  Phyllis formerly worked at CTS and Jay Garment. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.
Loving survivors include: three Sisters - Karen McFarland, Dunkirk, IN., Sharon Brown, Portland, IN., and Terry Phillips, Pennville, IN and Dylan Harris, Dunkirk, IN; whom which she helped raise.
She was preceded in death by her : Parents - Roy & Vivian (Gower) Platt.

Oma Lee Shuttleworth, 57, of Van Buren, (Landess) IN, passed away at 11:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at her home, with her family around her side.  She was born on Saturday, January 18, 1958, in Marion, IN.  She married her caring and devoted husband, Mark L. Shuttleworth on Saturday, April 20, 1985 in Landess, IN.  Oma was a hard worker, working for almost 30 years at Heritage Pointe in Warren in the Dietary Department. She was the former Dietary Manager at Heritage Pointe. Her love and contagious smile will surely missed by not only her family, but her co-workers and residents she served. She enjoyed going to rummages and tending to her garden. Oma attended the Countryside Wesleyan Church in rural Marion.

Patty S. Anderson, 76, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 9:10 AM on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at IU Health-Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN.  She was born on Thursday, June 01, 1939, in Horton, MI.  She married Dee Anderson on Monday, August 26, 1957 in Hartford City, Indiana.  Mrs. Anderson worked at Sheller Globe in Montpelier, IN for 16 years.  She had also worked at Aztec Inn in Tucson, Arizona, Dyna-Day Classic Plastic Factory and was also the secretary for the Montpelier Little League. She enjoyed fishing and watching the Chicago Cubs.

Bisel, 43, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 11:35 AM on Monday, July 13, 2015   in Geneva, IN.  He was born on Tuesday, November 23, 1971, in Portland, IN.  He married Sonja Gibson Bisel on Saturday, June 26, 1993 in Linn Grove, Indiana.  James passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Geneva, IN.  James was a 1991 graduate of South Adams High School.  He had formerly served on the Geneva and Berne Fire Departments.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
