Jennifer Nicole Henderson, 31, of Montpelier, IN, passed away after being diagnosed with melanoma in 2014. She passed away peacefully at 7:02 AM on Tuesday, September 08, 2015 at home in Montpelier.  She was born on Wednesday, July 04, 1984, in Blackford County. Jennifer was a 2003 graduate of Blackford High School. She attended the 1st Baptist Church in Montpelier when she was younger. She had formerly worked at the Montpelier Millard Brown American Legion Post #156. Jennifer enjoyed crocheting and many different sports such as: softball, basketball, and volleyball. She also liked reading and hanging out with family and friends. She was most proud of her son Caiden and especially enjoyed taking him fishing.

 She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents - Charles & Lucille Henderson.

 Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St. Montpelier on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

 A service to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home  at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2015 with  Jeremy Cowin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mossburg Cemetery in Wells County.

Helen V. Franze, 92, of Berne, IN, formerly of Geneva, IN., passed away at 6:55 PM on Friday, September 04, 2015 at Swiss Village in Berne, IN.  She was born on Tuesday, May 01, 1923, in Geneva, to Edwin T. & Elma (Kneuss) Moser.  She married Jean Devereaux Franze on Sunday, February 25, 1968 in Coldwater, MI.; he passed away on October 1, 1982.  Helen attended Geneva High School growing up. She retired from CTS in Berne after many years of service. She moved to Swiss Village in 1997 and was an avid seamstress and piano player. She attended the High Street United Methodist Church in Geneva.

 

Loving Survivors include: Son - Robert George (Wife, Nancy) Dull, Geneva, IN., Daughter-in-laws - Linda Dull, Hamilton,, IN & Phyllis Dull, Ft. Wayne, IN., Grandson - Todd Dull, Bluffton, IN., Brother - Rev. Dale W. Moser, Columbia City, IN., 10 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren  and 9 Gr. Gr. Grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her: Parents - Edwin T. & Elma (Kneuss) Moser, Husband – Jean Devereaux Franze, Sons - Merrill Lewis Dull & Thomas Neal Dull, Sisters - Imogene Skipper, June Study, Jeane Mills, Baby Sister - Alta Moser, Brother - Gordon P. Moser, 1 Grandchild and 1 Great Grandchild.

 

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva on Wednesday, September 09, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM .A service to celebrate Helen’s life will follow at 2:00 PM on Wednesday afternoon with Pastor Mike Wertenberger     officiating.  Burial will follow in the M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne.

 Wanda Mohler, 73, of Berne, IN, passed away on August 31, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.  She was born on Monday, July 13, 1942, in Everetts, KY.  Wanda went to Hughes High School in Cincinnati, OH.  She attended the Church of Christ in Corbin Ky. She enjoyed reading her Bible. Survivors Include: Son - Jerry (Amy) Hollingsworth, Berne, IN., Daughter - Angie (Aaron) Roark, Corbin , KY., Son - Phillip (Peggy) Hollingsworth, Greenwood, IN., Daughter - Sherry (John) Rogers, Portland, IN., Daughter - Patty ( Friend, Billy) Hollingsworth, Corbin, KY., Daughter - Jennifer (Duane) Ervin, Geneva, IN., Sisters - Geri Dugger,

Phyllis Medford, Sharon Jones, and Peggy White, Brothers - Warren G. Moore, Timmy Lyn Moore, Phillip Ray Moore, and Charles Edward Moore and 12 Grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Warren and Anna Loraine (Day) Moore and a son Bobby Hollingsworth.

William "Bill" A. Bryant

William "Bill" A. Bryant, 77, of Warren, IN, passed away at 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 05, 2015 at his Residence in Warren.  He was born on Wednesday, August 17, 1938, in Delaware Co, IN.  He married Linda (Rollins) Bryant on Friday, April 13, 2007 .  Bill spent his early years in Delaware Co. He graduated from Royerton High School. He was a member of the Van Buren American Legion. He retired from Fisher Body in Marion, In., where he had been a member of the Sympathy Club. Bill enjoyed fishing, his trips to Florida, and being a crew member of Mike Bryant racing. He had served in Korea while in the US Army. Bill was a person who never met a stranger.

Survivors Include: Daughter - Jody (husband, George) Banter, Rome City, IN., Son - Brad (Wife, Tonya) Bryant, Bluffton, IN., Son - Tim Bryant, Ossian, IN., Son - Kelby (Wife, Andrea) Bryant, Huntington, IN., 16 Grandchildren  and 16Great Grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his Father - Jasper O. Bryant Sr., Mother - Sarah Esta (Disney) Bryant, Wife - Linda (Rollins) Bryant, and Brothers - Jasper Bryant Jr. and  Oscar Bryant.

Kenneth Stallsmith

Kenneth Stallsmith, 71, of Van Buren Twp, IN, passed away at 5:06 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at VA Northern Indiana Health Care System in Marion, with his family around him.  He was born on Sunday, November 28, 1943, in Marion to David Edgar and Louvia (Stimax) Stallsmith. Kenneth graduated from Van Buren High School in 1961 and from Ball State University. He served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1966. While in the Air Force he was enrolled at Indiana University in their Russian language program. This program helped him with his job in the Air Force, which was a voice interpreter specialist (translator). After serving his country, Kenneth moved back to the Van Buren area and worked at Stallsmith Insurance for a while, before moving to Las Vegas, where he became the CFO of a construction company. He later moved to West Virginia to own and operate a coal mine and then to Melbourne Florida, where he was the CFO of the Habitat for Humanity.

 

Loving survivors include: 3 Sons - Eric (Kara) Stallsmith, Belize, South America, Dan (Stephanie) Stallsmith, Los Angeles, CA., Greg (Katy) Stallsmith, Evansville, IN., 1 Daughter - Candi Bishop, Pineville, WV., 5 Grandchildren, Special Friend - Vickie Evans, Van Buren, IN., Sister - Neta June (Paul) O'Brien, Marion, IN., Brother-in-law - Don Pennington, Indianapolis, IN., Family Friend - Richard Woolsey, Marion, IN., and several Nieces & Nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents David Edgar & Louvia (Stimax) Stallsmith and sister Rose Marie Pennington.

A service to celebrate Kenneth’s life will follow at 2:30 PM on Wednesday afternoon, with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating.  Interment will follow in the Van Buren Cemetery in Van Buren.
