Tyson E. Franze Coleman, 29, of Ossian, IN, formerly of Hartford City, IN., passed away unexpectedly early  Sunday morning, May 18, 2014 at his residence in Ossian.  He was born on Monday, May 13, 1985, in Bluffton. Tyson was a 2004 graduate of Blackford High School. He enjoyed working on his Mustang, playing his PlayStation, fishing and camping. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, May 24, 2014, one hour before the service.

 

A service to celebrate Tyson’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 24, 2014 with the Rev. Dewey Zent officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier.

Abe R. Yoder, 64, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 8:10 P.M. on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his residence.  He was born on Saturday, May 13, 1950.  He married Rosie A. Schwartz on Thursday, May 04, 1972.  Abe was a member of the Old Order Amish and worked as a farmer. 
 
He is survived by his: Wife: Rosie A. (Schwartz) Yoder, Daughters: Emma (husband, Amos C.) Schwartz, of Monroe, IN; Rosie (husband, William) Schwartz, of Portland, IN; Elizabeth (husband, Melvin) Eicher, of Carlisle, KY.  Sons: Truman (wife, Caroline) Yoder, of Carlisle, KY; Joe (wife, Mary) Yoder, of Geneva, IN; Abe (wife, Edith) Yoder, of Geneva, IN.  Brothers: Mervin (wife, Elizabeth) Yoder, of KY; Wilson (wife, Elizabeth) Yoder, of Berne, IN.  Sisters: Elizabeth (husband, Neil) Troyer, of Geneva, IN; Emma (husband, Emanuel) Wickey, of KY; Ida (husband, Elmer) Schwartz, of Monroe, IN; Edna Schwartz, of Fl., and 51 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Truman & Rose (Schwartz) Yoder, and brothers; Truman and Jake Yoder. 
 
Visitation will be held at the Yoder Residence 9411 S. 600 E. Geneva, IN., on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. 

The Funeral Service will be held at the Yoder Residence on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. with Bishop Benjamin C. Eicher officiating.  Burial will follow in the Blue Creek Cemetery, in rural Adams County.

Robert O. Ramseyer

Robert O. Ramseyer, 82, of Montpelier, IN, a lifetime Blackford County resident, passed away at 5:23 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Bridgewater Rehabilitation Centre in Hartford City, IN.  He was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1931, in Hartford City, IN.  He married Ruth Wentz on Thursday, January 22, 1953 in Hartford City, IN.  Robert was a 1952 graduate of Montpelier High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. Robert retired from the Indiana Box Corporation in Montpelier, after 30 years of service. He also worked for Pacesetter Bank for several years as a courier. He was a former member of the Montpelier Volunteer Fire Department, Indiana Volunteer Fire Department Association, past leader of the Blackford County 4-H Horse and Pony Club and a Charter member of the Circle M Horse and Pony Club of Montpelier. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.

VIRGINIA BEACH - James Merritt "Huffer" Huffman, 62, passed away on May 17, 2014.
He was born in Huntington County, Indiana on January 17, 1952, to the late George K. and Mary E. Huffman. He was a graduate of Huntington North High School and Purdue University. After graduation, he joined the Navy and served his country as a Helicopter Pilot. He loved boat racing, golf, hunting and fishing with his friends and family.
 
James is survived by his wife, Gloria l. Huffman; son, Nathan (Robin) Huffman; daughter, Rebecca Boyd; grandchildren, Aiden and Faith Huffman; Emma, Liliana and Gennaro Boyd;siblings, Phillip (Donna) Huffman, Paul Huffman; Christine (John) Wearly and Nanette HuffmanHe was preceded in death by his infant son, James Merritt Huffman II, (Jamie).
 
The family will receive friends at the Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N. Matilda St. Warren on Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM. Alfred "Ray" Feaster

Ray Feaster, 93, of Geneva, IN, Formerly of Jay County, passed away at 10:12 AM on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Swiss Village Retirement Center in Berne, IN.  He was born on Wednesday, October 27, 1920, in Oak Town, IN.  He married Eunice (Wilson)  Feaster on Wednesday, June 25, 1941 in Terra Haute, IN.  Ray had attended OakTown Schools before he began farming and truck driving. Most of his life’s work was at C.T.S. which he retired from in 1985. In 2007 Ray entered Swiss Village.

 Survivors include his Wife - Eunice (Wilson) Feaster, Berne, IN, Daughter - Leota (Husband, Doug) David, Geneva, IN, Daughter - Janice Wolford, Geneva, IN, Son - Alfred (Wife, Linda) Feaster Jr., Berne, IN, 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 5 Gr. Gr. Grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his Father - Earl Feaster, Mother - Bertha (Hinkle) Feaster, Brother - Norman Feaster, Brother - Estel Feaster.
