John Paul Barlow, 64, of Kokomo, IN, formerly of Blackford County passed away at 10:21 AM on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Sycamore Village in Kokomo, IN.  He was born on Tuesday, August 12, 1952, in Blackford County, IN.   John Paul was a 1971 graduate of Blackford High School. He had attended the First Baptist Church in Montpelier. He was a sports writer for the Hartford City News Times and had worked for Lincoln Life in Ft. Wayne as an electrician. John Paul had spent his early years in Montpelier and then moved to Ft. Wayne where he raised his family. He enjoyed bowling, playing softball, IU basketball, and Colts football.

 

Loving Survivors Include: Son - Nicholas (Melissa) Barlow, Greenwood, IN, Sister - Penny (Jerry) White, Hartford City, IN, Step-Sisters - Vanessa Blessing, Cindy Waggy, Debbie Dickerson, and Grandsons – Landon & Cameron Barlow.

 

 

He was preceded in death by his Father - John William Barlow, and Mother - Miriam (Maish) Barlow.

 

A private graveside service to celebrate John’s life will be at Twin Hill - I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville, IN at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2016 with the Rev. Lloyd Hall   officiating.

Judith Ann Patrick, 70, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 5:36 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN.  She was born on Sunday, October 21, 1945, in Jeannette, PA to the late Harry Kornbauer & Phyllis (Hood) Vollmer. Judy formerly worked for the Blackford County School Corporation for 12 years. She was a member of the Hartford City American Legion Post#159 Auxiliary and worked at the Legion for several years. Judy enjoyed reading, watching Dancing with the Stars and Law and Order.

Carolyn Melissa Brinson, 37, of Muncie, IN, passed away at 3:14 PM on Sunday, October 02, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  She was born on Monday, August 27, 1979, in Charleston, SC.   Carolyn graduated from Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner South Carolina. She attended Hickory Grove Church of the Brethren in Pennville. She had worked at Pak-A-Sak in Montpelier.  Carolyn was such a free spirit who loved life to its fullest. She was a independent woman who wasn't afraid to show it. She loved butterflies, glitter, jewelry, music, and enjoyed taking rides with the windows down. Above all Carolyn loved her children and her family.

He enjoyed sail boating, drawing and hot rods.

He had worked for Smith Consulting. Robert was very passionate about animals and enjoyed being outdoors.
