Sharon Lampy, 68, of Berne, IN, passed away at 9:05 PM on Monday, November 03, 2014 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN.  She was born on Wednesday, January 09, 1946, in Decatur, IN.

She enjoyed gardening and working word puzzles in her spare time.

Sharon is survived by her Daughter - Lannette (husband - Rob) Love, Berne, IN., Son - Lyle Lampy, OH., Son - Lonnie Lampy, Rockford, OH., Son - Leroy Lampy, OH., and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Lampy.

 

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorials may be made to the choice of the donor.

Goldie Roser

Goldie M. Roser, 96, of Warren, IN, passed away at 1:34 AM on Saturday, November 01, 2014 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN.  She was born on Monday, September 30, 1918, in Mt. Etna, IN.  She married Carl Roser in Converse, Indiana.  Mrs. Roser was a homemaker and was a lifelong resident of Huntington County.  She was also a Huntington County Farmer and was a cook at Lancaster School.

 

Survivors include: Son - Jay Edward Roser, Warren, IN and Grandson - Jeremiah Roser, Warren, IN

 

She was preceded in death by her: Husband - Carl Roser; Parents- Clellie and Anna (Shuman) Cecil and a Sister - Opal L. Davis

 

There will be no visitation or funeral services and burial will take place at a later date.

Joyce V. Smitley

Joyce V. Smitley, 83, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 6:31 AM on Sunday, November 02, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.  He was born on Thursday, May 28, 1931, in Jefferson Township, Adams County, IN.  He married Rose Ann “Steinbrunner” Smitley on Saturday, October 08, 1949 in Kentucky.  Joyce was a 1949 graduate of Jefferson Township High School where he had played basketball for four years. Joyce was a Veteran serving as a U.S. Marine Corps Drill Instructor from 1949-1952. Joyce retired from International Harvester in Fort Wayne, IN. He attended High Street United Methodist Church.

 

Survivors include his Wife - Rose Ann Smitley, Geneva, IN, Daughter - Dianna Morningstar, Berne, IN, Son - Stanley (Wife, Cathy) Smitley, Monroe, IN, Daughter - Katrina "Kathy" Smitley, Clearwater, FL, Daughter – Tammy “Smitley” (Husband, Dean) Hummel, Berne, IN Brother - Darrol (Wife, Phyllis) Smitley, Geneva, IN, Sister – Margie Andrews, Angola, IN, 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 Gr. Gr. Grandchild,

 

He was preceded in death by his Father - Ralph Smitley, Mother - Alta Mae (Yaney) Smitley, Brother – Chester Smitley, Brother – Grant Smitley, Brother – Ralph Jr. Smitley, Sister – Melba Overman, Sister – Christine (Teenie) Hofstetter, Sister – Verlyn Cook, and Sister – Lela Kelly.

 

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva on Wednesday, November 05, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

 

A service to celebrate his life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 06, 2014 with Pastor Michele Isch officiating. Interment will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.

 

Military Graveside rights will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps.

Lester L. Enochs, 97, formerly of the Pennville area, passed away at 2:07 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Bridgewater Centre in Hartford City, IN.  He was born on Friday, March 23, 1917, in Blackford County, IN.  He married Josephine M. (Harter) Enochs on Saturday, September 24, 1938 in Hagerstown, IN.  Mr. Enochs was a Jay & Blackford County Farmer, and attended the Pleasantdale United Methodist Church. They had been winter residents of Tuscon, AZ since 1975.

 

Survivors include his Son - Ronald (Wife, Cathy) Enochs, Wapiti,WY, Daughter - Bonnie Enochs, Florence, AZ, Grandchild - Brian Headley, Florida, NV, Grandchild - Cristi Jo Headley, Florida, FL, Grandchild - Nakoma Garcia, Denver, CO, Grandchild - Shawnte' Gregg, Muncie, IN, Grandchild - Emma Enochs, Wapiti, WY.

He was preceded in death by his Wife - Josephine M. (Harter) Enochs, Father - Milo Enochs, Mother - Allie May (Fear) Enochs, Sister - Iris Pence, Brother - Francis Enochs.
