Frederick W. "Bud" Davidson, 89, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 12:34 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Adams  Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN.  He was born on Thursday, October 27, 1927, in Berne, IN.  He married Chloe (Bailey)  Davidson on Saturday, July 03, 1948 in Jackson Township Wells Co., IN.  Mr. Davidson retired from I.H.C. in Fort Wayne, IN in 1983, after 27 years of service.  He had also worked at Smith Brothers Furniture in Berne, IN for 13 years and also at Yager Furniture in Berne, IN for 5 years.  He had also worked at Simons for several years.  He was a member at Bethel Brethren Church.  He was on the Adams County Council on Aging for 5 years, a Trustee Board member for 5 years, a member of the Geneva Town Council for 8 years and was on the Adams County Economic Development for 8 years. He had also been a member of the Geneva Coffee Club.  He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

 

Loving  Survivors Include: Wife - Chloe (Bailey) Davidson, Geneva, IN, Daughter - Deborah Parrett, Berne, IN, Son - James E. (Mary) Davidson, Berne, IN, Daughter - Jocelyn "Jodi" (James) Zerby, Berne, IN, Son - Mark T. (Nancy Scott) Davidson, Berne, IN, 8 Grandchildren ,and 15 Great Grandchildren.

 

 

He was preceded in death by his Father - Don M. Davidson, Mother - Mary H. (Martin) Davidson, Son - Kevin Davidson, Daughter - Kira Jean Davidson, and Sister - Mary Doherty Newcomer.

 

 

 

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Bethel Brethren Church 718 E. Main Berne on Monday, April 03, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Bethel Brethren Church 718 E. Main BerneTuesday, April 04, 2017.

 

A service to celebrate his life will be at Bethel Brethren Church at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 04, 2017 with the Pastor Joseph Nass     officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva. Graveside Military rites will be performed by the U.S Air Force and the Berne American Legion.
