Miriam Maxine Michael Slentz, 89, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 1:30 PM on Saturday, June 03, 2017 at her residence in Hartford City, IN. She was born on Sunday, November 06, 1927, in Hartford City, IN. Miriam was a graduate of the Hartford City High School. She was a member of the Bethel Center Church of the Brethren. She had worked at Caylor Nickel Medical Center where she was a medical coder. Miriam was on the Bethel Center Women’s Fellowship and on the Church Board. She enjoyed reading, playing games, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Friday, June 09, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
A service to celebrate her life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2017 with the Pastor Ellen Adney officiating. Interment will be in the Gardens of Memory in Muncie at a later date.
