Ron D. Twibell, 78, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 2:40 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his residence in Montpelier, IN. he was born on September 3, 1938. He married Victoria (Fitch) Twibell on Thursday, November 27, 1958 in Montpelier, IN. Ron was a 1956 graduate of Chester Center High School. He served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Montpelier. He had worked for Dana Corp. in Marion, IN. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Ft. Wayne, Montpelier Masonic Lodge # 600 F&AM, Blackford Co. Animal shelter where he served on the board, Millard-Brown American Legion post 156, was a former Montpelier City councilman, Montpelier Historical Society, and the Sons of the American Revolution. Ron enjoyed fishing, his flowers, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father - Clifford D Twibell, Mother - Letha (Slife) Twibell, Brother - Furman Landis, Brother - Clifford "Benny" Twibell, and Sister - Winona Landis.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be a Masonic Service at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 with the Les Bantz officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier. Graveside Military rites will be conducted by the US Army, and the Millard Brown American Legion Post # 156.
