Sandra Sue Martin, 74, of Warren, IN, passed away at 8:55 AM on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, with her family by her side.  She was born on Wednesday, July 7, 1943, in Hartford City, IN.  She married James W. "Jim” Martin on Friday, March 25, 1960; he passed away on December 26, 2015. Sandra worked in the nutritional services at Heritage Pointe for many years. She was a member of Sigma Phi Gamma, and was Den mother for the Cub Scouts. She enjoyed bowling and had been on a Warren work league, which she very much enjoyed. Sandy liked collecting angels and especially loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene in Warren.


Loving Survivors include her Sons - James "Jim" (Susan) Martin Jr., Warren, IN, Tim (Leigh) Martin, Warren, IN, Mike Martin, Warren, IN,  David Martin, Muncie, IN, Grandchildren - Justin Martin, Warren, IN, Hayley Martin, Warren, IN, Tori Martin, Warren, IN, Bailey Martin, Warren, IN,  Rilee Martin, Warren, IN, Great Granddaughter - Aubrey Martin, Warren, IN, and Sister - Vickie Vallad, Hartford City, IN.


She was preceded in death by her Husband - James W. "Jim" Martin, Father - William Vallad, Mother - Imogene (Monroe) Vallad, and Brothers - Bill Vallad, Jr., Ron Vallad, & Kenneth Vallad.


Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.


A service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 with Chaplain Ginny Soultz officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
