Jean Ann Sink, 87, of Geneva, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at SwissVillage Retirement Community, Berne, Indiana.
Jean was born in Celina, Ohio to John and Lou Sink on May 12, 1929. She and her twin sisterJoan were to the first twins to graduate from Ball Memorial School of Nursing. After graduation she accepted a position as office nurse for Dr. John Carroll in Decatur, Indiana. She then moved to San Francisco, California where she was a surgical nurse supervisor for the V.A. Hospital. She then worked as Nurse Supervisor at Home Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio until her retirement.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. John C. Sink and her twin sister Joan Beckham. She is survived by her sister, Sara Briggs, one niece and five nephews.
Jean was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Geneva, Indiana.
There is no memorial service. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017at Swamp College Cemetery on Karch Road in Celina, Ohio.
Memorials be given to the John & Lou Sink Fund at the Adams Community Foundation in Decatur, Indiana.
